Lipid 5, also known as 7-[(2-Hydroxyethyl)[8-(nonyloxy)-8-oxooctyl]amino]heptyl 2-octyldecanoate, is a derivative of ALC-0315. It serves as a synthetic, ionizable lipid in conjunction with other lipids to form lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for drug delivery. The pKa is 6.2. Reagent grade, for research use only.
