PCL(3k)-PEG(3k)-BIO contains hydrophilic PEG block and hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) block. Upon dispersion in water, the polymer can self-assemble to form micelles and can be used to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs. The ester bonds of PCL is biodegradable via hydrolysis which can be useful for controlled release drug delivery. The biotin has strong binding affinity to avidin/streptavidin. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
