PLGA(1k)-PEG(1k)-NHS is an amphiphilic polymer with a terminal NHS ester which is reactive with primary amine via amide bond formation. The block copolymer contains a hydrophobic poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) block chemically attached to a hydrophilic PEG block. Upon dispersion in water, the polymer self assembles to form micelles which can encapsulate drugs for drug delivery. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
