PLGA(10k)-PEG(1k)-NHS is an active NHS ester functionalized polymer. The succinimidyl ester group can react with an amine to form a stable amide bond. It is biodegradable block copolymer with poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) hydrophobic block tethered to a PEG hydrophilic block. The polymer can self-assemble in water to form micelles which can be used to formulate controlled realease drug delivery system. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
