PLGA-Amine (LA/GA 50:50), MW 40,000 is a biodegradable amorphous poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) polymer which has a terminal amine and hydroxy group. The ratio of LA to GA is 50:50. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups. The amine group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde), etc. Reagent grade, for research use only.
