Vepdegestrant (ARV-471) is a PROTAC-based estrogen receptor degrader for breast cancer research. The compound promotes interactions between estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) and an intracellular E3 ligase complex, leading to ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of the estrogen receptor. ARV-471 has demonstrated potent ER degradation activity in ER-positive breast cancer cell lines.
