DPPE-PEG-amine, MW 2,000 is a polyPEG reagent consisting of DPPE, a phosphatidylethanolamine derivative with two palmitoyl (16:0) acyl chains. It is a major cell membrane component in bacteria and the nervous system. DPPE can be used to create micelles, liposomes, and other artificial membranes.
