Sulfo TCO-Maleimide is a water-soluble reagent for attaching TCO moieties to cysteine-containing peptides or other thiol-containing molecules. The maleimide group selectively reacts with reduced thiols at pH 6.5-7.5, forming stable thioether bonds.
