t-Boc-N-MMAF is a Boc-protected Monomethyl auristatin F (MMAF), which is an antitubulin agent that inhibits cell division by blocking the polymerization of tubulin. The Boc group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions. The MMAF payload induces potent antitumor effects when conjugated via protease-cleavable linkers to a monoclonal antibody targeting internalizing, tumor-specific cell surface antigens. It may be employed in the construction of antibody-drug conjugates.
