Dioctadecylamine

Dioctadecylamine

Dioctadecylamine (DODA) is a secondary amine known for its ability to self-organize into plate-like structures in aqueous solutions. It displays hydrophobic characteristics that make it suitable for nanoparticle formation and offers good dispersibility in nonpolar solvents. However, DODA does not form a monolayer when the pH is above 3.9. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
