Palbociclib Hydrochloride


Palbociclib (PD 0332991) hydrochloride is an orally active selective inhibitor of CDK4 and CDK6 with IC50 values of 11 and 16 nM, respectively. It induces cell cycle arrest, showing potent anti-proliferative activity. Palbociclib is used in research for HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma. It inhibits growth in ER-positive or HER2-amplified breast cancer cells, demonstrating synergy with tamoxifen and trastuzumab. Additionally, it blocks retinoblastoma phosphorylation and induces G1 arrest. Reagent grade, for research use only.
