N-(PEG4-acid)-N-bis(PEG4-t-butyl ester) is a branched PEG linker with a terminal carboxylic acid group which is reactive with amine molecules in the presence of HATU. The two t-butyl ester groups can be hydrolyzed under acidic conditions to obtain free acids.
